HSBC in Paris is seeking an experienced Surveillance Senior Manager to oversee the operation and enhancement of controls detecting market abuse and misconduct. The base location is Paris, with a hybrid pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

You will identify misconduct, manage escalations, and coordinate with regulators and senior management while developing evolving surveillance controls and ensuring regulatory alignment across businesses.

Formación

• Subject matter expertise in markets products (including derivatives).
• Experience in Surveillance or Compliance roles in Markets preferable.
• Good understanding of MAR, MiFID, and other regulations.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and investigate potential forms of staff or counterparty misconduct.
• Ensure alerts are escalated and resolved.
• Respond to regulatory and senior management requests with timely, accurate information.
• Develop and test new trade surveillance controls to identify misconduct and market abuse.
• Support regulatory change and ensure surveillance aligns with requirements.
• Assist in resolving audit and control findings.
