Jifmar Group in Aix-en-Provence seeks a Senior Subsea Cable Project Engineer to oversee cable landfall projects from tendering through offshore and onshore execution. You will lead technical delivery, manage client relationships and drive project performance.

You will validate pull-in methods, analyse bathymetry and geotechnics, supervise offshore and nearshore operations, and coordinate global teams. Fluent English and French and willingness to travel internationally are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Maritime, Offshore, Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 8–12 years of subsea cable experience.
• Hands-on experience in cable landfall and shore-end operations.
• Experience managing offshore/nearshore projects from tendering through execution.
• Knowledge of installation constraints, pulling operations and survey data interpretation.
• Fluent in English and French.

Responsabilités

• Lead the technical prep and execution of subsea cable landfall projects.
• Support tendering and business development with planning, costing and risk assessment.
• Validate pull-in methods: HDD, open-cut trench, direct pull.
• Analyse survey data and define installation methodologies.
• Supervise offshore and onshore operations with HSE and cable integrity.
• Coordinate real-time between marine and onshore teams.
• Manage inspection, maintenance and repair activities in nearshore.
• Act as technical focal point for clients, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Lead project performance including schedule, budget, reporting, contractual risk management, variation orders and claims.
