Job summary

Airbus is seeking a Senior Structures Stress Engineer in Toulouse to join the MAP team. You will support Final Assembly Line, flight tests, and customer lines to ensure airworthiness and align with program schedules.

Expected background includes stress analysis for metallic/composite structures, and experience on widebody programs. DOA stress delegations or potential development is required. English negotiation level is essential; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in stress analysis for metallic and/or composite structures.
• English negotiation level; French is a plus.
• Experience on widebody aircraft programs.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the impact of non-conformances (NCs) on airworthiness and provide stress justifications.
• Ensure the technical content of all compliance documents (non-conformances, concessions, etc.) in line with FAL milestones.
• Support overall airframe quality improvement: investigate root causes of NCs and develop corrective actions.
• Identify areas of inefficiency and contribute to process improvement.
• Act as a point of contact to facilitate coordination between manufacturing, quality, design offices, etc.
