Job summary

Airbus Operations SAS in Toulouse is seeking a skilled Stress Engineer to support the assembly and testing phases of Airbus widebody programs (A350/A330/A380). You will assess NCs affecting airworthiness and provide robust stress justifications.

You'll work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure compliance, drive root-cause investigations, and contribute to continuous improvements across the FAL, flight tests, and customer lines.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Stress Engineer on aircraft structures.
• Solid background in metallic and/or composite analysis.
• Familiarity with DOA Stress delegations is a plus.
• Experience with widebody programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the impact of non-conformances on airworthiness and provide stress justifications.
• Ensure compliance documents for NCs and concessions align with FAL milestones.
• Support airframe quality improvement by investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Identify areas of inefficiency and contribute to process improvements.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and design offices as a liaison.
