Job summary

Jobgether SRL in France seeks a Staff Engineer - Pricing to build the pricing infrastructure behind a modern energy transaction platform. You’ll own the Pricing API, lead significant architectural decoupling, and drive AI-assisted workflows in a remote-first, collaborative environment.

You’ll focus on reliability, explainability, and performance, working with Python, FastAPI, SQL, and AWS to deliver scalable pricing solutions for external consumers.

Qualifications

• Deep Python backend experience with API design at scale.
• Senior escalation point for backend issues.
• Experience decoupling or migrating live systems without disruption.
• Strong FastAPI and SQL proficiency for data-heavy systems.

Responsibilities

• Build, evolve, and operate the Pricing API for third-party consumption.
• Lead extraction of pricing logic into a dedicated service with clear boundaries.
• Manage architectural migrations while protecting existing functionality.
• Own pricing reliability with detection, monitoring, and alerting.
