Job summary

PETROFF AVOCATS is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and help scale a large production application used by clients in the legal sector. You will own features end-to-end, from backend Laravel APIs to the Next.js frontend, while migrating MongoDB to PostgreSQL and optimizing queries.

You’ll collaborate with a DevOps-focused team on deployments, CI/CD, and infrastructure improvements, working on a production system that values clarity, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Laravel.
• Strong experience with Next.js and React.js.
• Experience working with PostgreSQL.
• Good understanding of MongoDB.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our engineering team and work on a large-scale production application.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working on modern technologies, and taking ownership of products used by real users.

You’ll be joining an existing engineering team to help accelerate the development of one of our flagship products.

The application is already in production and includes:

• Large Laravel backend
