Software Engineering at ProcessOut

We are a self-sufficient team that operates in a fully agile way.

When it comes to technical stack, we are hosted in AWS, use EKS and our primary development language is Go. As we always strive to use the best tool for the job, we use a combination of Redis, DynamoDB and Postgres for persistence layer, and REST, gRPC and queues for communication.

We are experiencing constant growth in the number of transactions handled, new clients, and integrations. That’s why we pay very close attention to elegant design and scalability of the platform. We are looking for dedicated engineers who would like to join us on our journey.

About you

• At least 5 years of experience in software development in Golang
• Know your way around web-related tech (HTTP, TLS, proxies, API conventions…)
• Have had experience in building technical frameworks that handles critical flows
• Able to communicate with third‑party providers from both a technical perspective and business
• Be product minded
• Always curious and passionate about understanding the business
• Have worked in financial services
• Have experience mentoring software engineers, and ambition to become manager

Nice to have

• Payment knowledge around Cards or Alternative Payment Methods

What you will be doing

• Working within our Integration team to deliver new API connections with Payment Service Providers, maintain existing integrations, and help evolve the platform by implementing new functionalities and optimizing performance.
• Contributing to services and overall architecture by discussing technical solutions, proposing enhancements, and actively contributing to our codebases.
• Build the technical vision of our payment framework with the goal of maximizing quality and velocity of the team
• Own the product vision to help on designing, building, and releasing new features
• Participating in our on‑call paid rotation
• Mentor and manage software engineers
