Entrust Fintech, Paris team, is seeking a well-experienced Fullstack Engineer to design, develop, and maintain a new web application for an Instant Financial Issuance solution. You will contribute to a payment marketplace backend and to a customer onboarding app, collaborating with a small, skilled R&D squad.

The role emphasizes Java/Python backends, Spring/Hibernate, RESTful services, and secure SDLC practices within an Agile environment. Flexible hybrid working with 3 days in-office in Paris.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technology discipline.
• 3+ years of experience with basic Web Technology like HTML and CSS.
• 2+ years of experience with JAVA and Python backend developments.
• 1+ year of experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience with agile methodologies and SaaS development and deployment.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

Today, DCS, Entrust's Fintech branch specializing in digital payment solutions, is looking for new talent.

Today, we offer innovative digital payment solutions to customers in the banking and associated sectors.

More precisely we provide our own secure wallet to digitize/tokenize cards and make NFC payments on Android and Apple, but we can also push cards into the wallets of major players such as Apple, Google and Samsung.

Our products are based on a REST backend architecture that communicates with SDKs embedded in mobile applications.

The R&D team behind these products is made up of around 25 people, divided into different squads: Backend, FullStack, DevOps, Mobile an QA.

Your position will expand the fullstack team, currently made up of 2 people.

We are looking for well experienced Fullstack Engineer to join our Paris team!

Your Mission:

The FullStack Engineer will take an active role in the design, development and maintenance of a new important product for Entrust Instant Financial Issuance solution.

This new product will be a web application that will be integrated in a payment market place.

You will also be working on our back office and on a customer onboarding application

The qualified candidate will work with minimal supervision and utilize knowledge, experience and judgment to accomplish goals.

Responsibilities:

• Design, test, deploy, debug, and implement Java/Spring Boot software applications and services.
• Effectively apply Agile (Scrum) methodology to track progress and enforce project standards.
• Knowledgeable about secure development life cycle, threat modeling, and web application security assessments.
• Participate in requirements definition, documentation, and code reviews.
• Contribute to the estimation of work for the team by defining task breakdown, project duration and concurrent effort.
• Assist in production escalation and problem resolution.
• Develop and maintain automation and CI/CD environments.
• Function independently with project assignments and with minimal supervision.
• Exhibit a process-oriented mindset.
• Confidently interact and share skills with team members.
• Identify opportunities to drive innovation, accelerate product launches, and remove bottlenecks to deliver results.

Basic Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent degree in a technology discipline.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience with basic Web Technology like HTML and CSS.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience with JAVA and Python backend developments.
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience with agile methodologies, and tools Understand the concepts of business objects, layered design, data access objects, and design patterns. Experience with relational databases, and SQL languages.
• Experience with SaaS development and deployment
• Experience with Jenkins and Gitlab
• Autonomous but real team player, not afraid of challenges.
• Experience with RESTful API development and integration
• Contribute to the estimation of work by defining task breakdown, project duration, and concurrent effort.
• Assist in production escalation and problem resolution.
• Identify opportunities to drive innovation, accelerate product launches, and remove bottlenecks to deliver results
