Veepee invites a Senior Software Engineer to join the Foundation - Infrastructure Development team in Paris. You will contribute across Gaio (GenAI Orchestrator), VeepeeCloud, and other infra services, working with Rust, Go and Scala.

Expect production-grade responsibilities, incident handling, and collaboration with SREs and Product Owners in a hybrid setup. You will engage in architecture discussions, code reviews, and maintainability efforts, while leveraging AI coding tools to boost daily

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience on large-scale systems.
• Proficient in Go, Rust, or Scala, with ability to work across all three.
• Experience with large databases and query optimization.
• Production incident management experience.
• Hands-on with DevOps/SRE tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD).
• Strong fault-tolerance, observability, and reliability knowledge.
• Experience with multi-datacenter or hybrid cloud deployments.
• Experience with LLM APIs or AI gateway/proxy systems.
• Background in SRE or platform engineering.
• Open source contributions.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, and maintain production services across multiple infrastructure projects.
• Participate in architectural discussions and trade-offs.
• Collaborate with SREs on infrastructure and operational decisions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Respond to production incidents and contribute to their resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality standards.
