Fut-ure Recruitment and Technology is assisting a Marseille-based client in the Retail sector to hire a (Senior) Software Developer. You will own the development cycle with your team, delivering APIs and a new product engine while mentoring juniors and collaborating with leadership.

Required: 4+ years in C#/.NET, 3+ years web development, strong SQL Server, JavaScript, and CI/CD with Docker/Azure. Fluent English; French is a plus. Willingness to learn Go and/or React is valued.

Currently we are seeking a (Senior) Software Developer to join one of our clients - an international established start-up in the Retail sector in the heart of Marseille.

Responsibilities

• Experience with industrial manufacturing software for example Batch, SCADA, HMI PLCs or similar an advantage
• you are responsible for the entire development cycle of your projects with your team, enhancing transparency and communicating internally as well as externally effectively to promote successful solutions to satisfy our needs
• You can give advice to our departments as new requirements emerge
• with your team you will be in charge of both planning and implementing new solutions and demands
• You use and develop our CI-Pipeline further
• You support our junior Devs and apprentices in our path of continuous improvement
• Working closely with the Head of Engineering
• Developing the new product engine
• Developing APIs

Requirements

• The technology is not the most important thing, the willingness to learn is, especially willing to learn GO and/or React
• Experience working for a product company is essential
• At least 2 years of prior working experience in object-oriented software development (e.g. PHP, Java, C#, ...)
• Minimum 4+ years' developing applications in C# and .NET required
• 3+ years of experience in web application development
• Good knowledge of JavaScript and JavaScript libraries (AngularJS, KnockoutJS, etc.)
• Experience with unit testing such as NUnit, MSTest, FitNesse and Jasmine
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (programming with T-SQL)
• Team player, but capable of working well independently also
• Experience with Microsoft Power BI
• with CI / CD tools
• Experience building high-traffic APIs and websites
• Profound knowledge of Software Design Patterns
• Good working knowledge of JavaScript and front-end technologies
• You learn quickly and your ability to deal with complex problems distinguishes you
• you already know the DevOps way of life, Git, Linux, Nginx, Docker and Azure
• Experience either as a Back-end Developer, Front-end Developer or Fullstack Developer
• Fluent in English, French is a big plus
