Fut-ure Recruitment and Technology is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and implement Python, C and C++ applications for embedded and mobile platforms in a fast-paced, international setting.

You will collaborate with hardware and backend teams to deliver robust drivers, microservices, and testing infrastructure, while maintaining high quality and on-time delivery across the SDLC.

Qualifications

• MS degree in CS/EE or equivalent experience.
• Strong coding skills in C and C++.
• 5+ years Linux/embedded or mobile platform experience.
• 5+ years in software architecture.
• Fluency in English and French.

Responsabilités

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer: C/C++/Python to join one of our clients – an international innovator in financial services to launch a digital investment platform.

Responsibilities

• You will develop new Python applications for the Raspberry-Pi platform
• You will improve the tests, frameworks, and tools used for testing iOS, web, and server applications
• You will implement new microservices used in our scaled backend infrastructure
• You will develop applications, services, tools used across the company and low-level engineering solution on Real-Time (RTOS), Android and Linux-based systems
• You will work closely with the hardware team to develop drivers and middleware for cutting edge new hardware components
• You will build automation and reporting infrastructure for pre-production and in-production testing and validation of critical hardware and software changes.
• You will be responsible for the quality and on-time delivery of your work-products throughout the software development lifecycles

Requirements

• MS degree in CS/EE or equivalent experience
• Strong, demonstrable coding skills in C and C++
• 5+ years of experience with Linux environment, working with embedded or mobile platform or customizing Android OS for embedded devices
• 5+ years of experience in software architecture
• Ability to independently execute on medium sized features that take multiple weeks and multiple iterations of PRs to complete
• Ability to understand, debug and improve operational aspects of the system
• You are not afraid of making decisions and can articulate your arguments
• You are eager to tackle all problems
• You are curious and willing to improve
• You are a lifetime learner who isn ‘t afraid to admit to a mistake
• Strong development skills in Python
• Ability to analyze, understand, and solve problems
• Good understanding of testing fundamentals
• Attention to detail and an emphasis on quality rather than fast results
• Fluency in English and French required
