Job summary

Eutelsat Communications SA seeks a senior SIT Engineer to lead lab definition, build, commissioning and readiness for IRIS² and next-gen Eutelsat LEO services. You’ll translate system architecture into secure, repeatable test environments across RF, network, compute and software domains.

You will work with hardware, test equipment, and multiple partners to expose risks early and keep end-to-end delivery moving, while collaborating with system engineering, IVV, and suppliers across Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical/electronic eng, telecom, CS or physics with relevant lab experience.
• Experience building or expanding integration labs for complex systems.
• Hands-on RF test with spectrum analysers and VNAs required.
• Ability to work across RF, IP, compute and software domains with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own the lab lifecycle: requirements, layouts, BOMs, procurement and commissioning.
• Design facilities: racks, power, cooling, grounding and networking.
• Build RF test capability with equipment and cabling.
• Create environments with terminals, gateways, 5G core, IP transport and cloud.
• Lead end-to-end integration and observe phased testing.
• Coordinate vendor deliveries, readiness criteria and site acceptance.
