Eutelsat is seeking a senior, hands-on System Integration & Test Engineer in Toulouse or Paris to lead lab definition, build, commissioning, and readiness for IRIS² and next-gen LEO services. You will bridge RF, network, compute and software, coordinating with hardware, test equipment, and vendor teams to mitigate risks and ensure secure, scalable environments.

You will work across RF, IP, and cloud systems, driving test strategy, automation, and end-to-end integration while balancing schedule,

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Seven+ years in satellite/complex systems including lab expansion.
• Hands-on RF test experience with spectrum analysers and VNAs.
• Knowledge of RF signal paths, cabling and components.
• Experience with multi-vendor integration and fault diagnosis.
• Lab infrastructure knowledge: racks, cooling, grounding, timing, security.
• Strong Linux and IP networking; automation with Python/SCPI.
• Clear communication and ability to influence technical decisions.
• EU27 citizenship and ability to satisfy security/access requirements.
• Experience with 4G/5G, RAN, 5G Core, UE, QoS and emulation.
• Experience with virtualization, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automated tests.
• Experience on large European space programmes.

Responsabilités

• Own the lab lifecycle: define requirements, layouts, BOMs, procurement, build, commissioning, and transition.
• Design fit-for-purpose facilities: racks, power, cooling, grounding, networking, RF distribution, timing, security.
• Build RF test capability: spectrum analysers, VNAs, signal generators, meters, scopes, channel emulators, test gear.
• Create representative environments: integrate user terminals, UE simulators, gateways, RAN and 5G Core.
• Drive end-to-end integration: phased roadmap for early interface testing as elements become available.
• Integrate vendor deliveries: readiness criteria, supplier evidence, site acceptance, interface verification.
• Lead fault isolation: debug cross-domain issues, root-cause analysis and closure.
• Control and improve labs: diagrams, assets, calibration, configuration, readiness; automate control.
• Support programme delivery: verification planning, test execution, defect triage, reporting; communicate blockers.
