GitGuardian in Paris is seeking an experienced Senior SRE/Platform Engineer to join the Self-hosted team. You will design, develop and operate the self-hosted infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security and smooth monthly releases.

You will work with Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, and GitLab CI, collaborating with product and engineering teams to automate deployments, improve observability, and support large international customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or related area.
• Significant experience building and maintaining self-hosted Kubernetes solutions.
• Expertise using Kubernetes in production as a cluster admin, Helm, and Docker.
• Familiarity with OpenShift or Rancher is a plus.
• Experience in observability with Grafana and related tools.
• Proficiency with CI/CD systems like GitLab CI, ArgoCD or similar.
• Customer focus and ability to participate in customer calls when needed.
• Fluency in French and English.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop and administer Self-hosted infrastructure and adapt product to customer infra.
• Ensure high quality, reliability and security for self-hosted releases including incident management.
• Enhance the release process with more automation and quality checks.
• Improve releases for observability and troubleshooting.
• Monitor and enhance GitLab CI infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain infrastructure for test environments (review-apps).
• Assist engineering teams to create and maintain new self-hosted services.
• Contribute to new product deployments.
• Advocate DevOps best practices to engineering teams.
• Provide Level 3 customer support and participate in customer calls.
