Job summary

Eutelsat is seeking a hands-on modem engineer to co-develop the next-gen Ku/Ka-band terminals. You’ll engineer the physical layer, build the bench, automate campaigns, and verify results against golden vectors.

You will work on a single-chip modem module with a vector compute engine, RISС-V control, and on‑chip NPU. You will bring up toolchains, perform RF measurements, and drive regression on the platform alongside a senior architect.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or MSc in electronics, telecommunications, signal processing or computer science.
• Strong C and C++ on embedded targets with profiling/optimisation.
• Experience with vector DSP engines, RISC-V subsystems and hardware-software integration.

Responsibilities

• Bring up the platform: toolchains, boot firmware, clocking and peripheral configuration.
• Develop and optimise PHY software and kernel code; ensure bit-exact delivery vs reference model.
• Instrument, automate, and log bench campaigns; verify measurements against gold vectors.
