Job summary

Expleo in Poissy, Île-de-France, France is seeking a skilled engineer to define and enforce Rockwell hardware and networking standards across PLCs, HMIs, I/O, and industrial switches. You will validate configurations, diagnostics, and alarm philosophies, coordinating with Rockwell teams and suppliers.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with Rockwell hardware and a solid understanding of EtherNet/IP, VLANs, and OT cybersecurity.

Qualifications

Very strong hands-on experience with Rockwell hardware architectures (PLCs, HMIs, I/O, switches).
Strong knowledge of ControlLogix, GuardLogix, Rockwell I/O families and Rockwell Ethernet switches.
Solid understanding of EtherNet/IP, DLR, VLAN configuration principles, OT cybersecurity constraints.
Ability to define robust configuration standards and engineering procedures for project teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

Define and validate standard Rockwell hardware architectures for PLCs, HMIs, remote I/O, safety I/O and related components.
Define standard configurations for Rockwell industrial Ethernet switches, EtherNet/IP networks, DLR usage, VLAN principles and diagnostics.
Write and validate PLC/HMI/I/O and switch configuration settings with proper naming, addressing and diagnostics behavior.
Define diagnostic principles for PLC, HMI, I/O, switches and communication faults, including alarm philosophy and maintenance information.
Write technical standards, engineering rules, commissioning procedures, configuration guides and validation checklists with Rockwell teams.
Review supplier proposals, challenge incomplete configurations, and ensure deployment consistency.
