Job summary

Expleo is seeking a skilled Rockwell-based PLC/HMI specialist based in Poissy, France. You will contribute to architecture reviews, HMI design, and integration of OPC UA server functions across MES contexts. The role includes testing on benches, validation, and collaboration with Rockwell teams and integrators.

Travel to client sites in the Paris area and occasional international visits will be required. A strong background in STLA-CS Rockwell standards and Siemens/TIA Portal concepts is

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on Rockwell/Allen-Bradley PLC programming experience.
• Strong Rockwell HMI design and coding experience.
• Ability to review supplier PLC programs for architecture, quality and performance.
• Knowledge of EtherNet/IP, CIP Safety, PLC/robot interfaces, inverter control and diagnostics.
• Experience developing OPC UA Server functions in Rockwell environments.
• Experience with MQTT/MQTTS interfaces for MES requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review PLC program architecture for STLA-CS Rockwell principles and ensure modularity and maintainability.
• Verify delivered function blocks: PLC/robot communication, safety gate management, inverter control, diagnostics.
• Check HMI faceplates, navigation, alarms, settings and runtime performance.
• Prepare and execute validation tests on test benches; document results and corrective actions.
• Create and maintain software verification checklists for PLC, HMI, and diagnostics.
• Develop urgent PLC/HMI functions for Atessa as project timing requires.
• Develop and validate OPC UA Server functions for monitoring systems; support MQTT/MQTTS exchanges for MES.
• Travel to Paris area, Sochaux, Atessa or Italy as needed (limited).
