Job summary

Alice & Bob is seeking a Senior Project Purchaser to manage end-to-end procurement for our next-generation infrastructure, spanning nanofabrication to cryogenics. You will collaborate with Experiments and Engineering teams to secure the best tools and resources, enabling cutting-edge quantum projects.

You will report to the Procurement Manager and thrive in a technical, fast-evolving environment, driving critical milestones and delivering value across complex programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of purchasing experience in an industrial or tech field.
• Strong knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques in technical sectors.
• Excellent negotiation skills with ability to influence stakeholders at different levels.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and maintain attention to detail.
• Proactive, autonomous work style with willingness to challenge and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal teams to define needs and identify best solutions for infrastructure projects.
• Negotiate with suppliers to meet budgets and timelines while driving innovation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and expand the supplier network.
• Drive procurement process improvements in an agile, fast-moving organization.
• Monitor market trends to stay informed on cost-effective, advanced solutions.
