Alice & Bob seeks an experienced physicist to own the numerical simulation strategy for superconducting qubits. You will define the simulation approach from device physics to qubit dynamics and set the bar for trustworthy results.
You will lead the predictive performance, validate simulations with experiments, and collaborate with physicists and engineers to shape the tool roadmap. PhD with deep domain experience required.
Qualifications
- Post-PhD experience in quantum physics, microwave engineering, and numerical methods.
- Leading simulation or modeling methodology at an organizational level.
- Experience with superconducting qubits or similar systems.
Responsabilités
- Own the predictive performance of the simulation stack end to end.
- Set the standard for trustworthiness across microwave, quantum, and numerical simulations.
- Identify bottlenecks and drive fixes for performance and fidelity.
- Shape the roadmap for simulation tools with cross-functional experts.
- Collaborate with experimentalists to validate simulations against measured device performance.
- Serve as the expert reference on simulation methodology across the team.
