Alice & Bob is seeking a Senior Integration & Yield Engineer to bridge qubit design and fabrication. You will own yield monitoring, perform data analyses, and drive process improvements as the team scales from tens to hundreds of qubits.

The role sits in the Foundries & Process Integration group within the Quantum Hardware & Infrastructure department, with a hybrid remote option and strong emphasis on data-driven decisions. Join a pioneering quantum startup in France.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years in semiconductor or superconducting circuit fabrication or process integration.
• Expertise in yield engineering, SPC, DOE, and statistical analysis tools.
• Proficiency in Python scripting to adapt and extend tools connecting design and fabrication workflows.
• Strong problem-solving mindset and root cause analysis methodologies (5 Whys, FMEA, Ishikawa).
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-disciplinary environment.
• Experience in fabrication or characterization of superconducting circuits or cryogenic testing is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Own yield monitoring across fabrication flows: define metrics, dashboards, and real-time visibility of fab performance.
• Lead root cause analysis of yield detractors in collaboration with chip manufacturing teams.
• Perform advanced statistical analysis to ensure process stability and control variability.
• Develop strategies to reduce inductance/frequency non-uniformity to improve qubit performance.
• Define and maintain robust integration flows of POR and establish DFM guidelines.
• Translate device designs into fabrication-ready wafer layouts and develop Python-based tools to automate the design-to-wafer pipeline.
• Coordinate investigations of device failures at room and cryogenic temperatures using electrical test data and microscopy.
• Lead corrective actions using structured problem-solving methodologies.
