Job summary

Schumacher & Co in Europe is seeking a hands-on Senior Quantitative Analyst, Product Portfolio (Statistical Modeling) to own analytics and reporting across a 20,000+ SKU portfolio. You will work directly with the CEO and Strategy team to translate complex data into actionable guidance for portfolio expansion, contraction, or shifts.

The role requires 2–5 years in data science and strong statistics, plus proficiency in SQL, Python, and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in data science and analytics in SKU-driven businesses.
• Solid grounding in statistics or operations research.
• Proficient SQL and Python; Snowflake experience required.
• Proven ability to present findings to senior stakeholders.
• Independent, proactive executor who sets priorities.
• Curious and digs to find true drivers.
• Knows SKU-level economics: sell-through, margin, inventory.
• Data quality mindset; fixes root causes in data.
• Hands-on AI/ML in business for automation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with CEO and Strategy teams to define questions and build analyses.
• Apply conjoint analysis and multivariate regression to drive productivity guidance.
• Remove data noise by accounting for stock-outs, new/discontinued SKUs, and seasonality.
• Identify data inconsistencies and correct records in Snowflake with upstream owners.
• Present findings clearly to executive audiences, tailoring for technical or non-technical.
• Develop recurring analytics and reporting to snapshot SKU productivity.
• Use AI to automate repetitive reporting and speed insights.
