Job summary

Schumacher & Co is seeking a hands-on Senior Quantitative Analyst, Product Portfolio (Statistical Modeling) to own analytics for the Portfolio Development team, covering 20,000+ SKUs. You will collaborate with the CEO and Sr.

Director to turn data into strategy, distinguishing signal from noise and correcting data issues in Snowflake. This 12-month contract combines high-impact analytics with AI-enabled automation, requires strong SQL, Python, Snowflake, and English communication, and offers

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in data science, analytics, statistics in SKU-driven businesses.
• Strong grounding in regression, hypothesis testing, multivariate analysis, optimization.
• Proficient in SQL and Python; Snowflake experience.
• Experience presenting findings to senior stakeholders and executives.
• Independent executor with ownership mindset.
• Curiosity; investigates data patterns beyond first numbers.
• SKU-level economics: sell-through, margin, inventory position.

Responsibilities

• Work with CEO and Strategy stakeholders to answer key questions with analysis and reporting.
• Use conjoint analysis and multivariate regression to identify drivers of productivity and guide portfolio decisions.
• Control for stock-outs, new/discontinued SKUs, and seasonality to reveal true trends.
• Identify and fix data inconsistencies in source systems (ERP, web, product master).
• Present findings to executive audiences, tailoring for technical/non-technical stakeholders.
• Maintain recurring analytics and reporting on SKU productivity.
• Use AI to automate repetitive analyses and scale insights.
