Jobtailor seeks a seasoned Hardware Quality Engineer to define and own the quality plan across the development chain. You will coordinate test activities and drive rigorous supplier quality, including on-site work in China, to ensure field reliability and CE compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in hardware quality within highly regulated industries, with proven experience in CE processes and supplier audits. You will collaborate across teams to build robust quality culture and processes.

• Minimum 5 years in hardware quality engineering in high-stakes industries.
• Experience in regulated sectors (medical, defense, aerospace) and strong quality discipline.
• Experience with CE certification processes and supplier audits, including China.

Requirements

• Min 5 years of experience in hardware quality engineering, in industries where quality really matters
• You've worked in highly regulated industries (medical, defense, aerospace) and know what real quality discipline looks like
• You master CE standards and can take a product through certification without surprises
• You've audited and worked with manufacturing suppliers, ideally including in China, and you're comfortable traveling there
• You combine rigor with diplomacy: hardware teams don't usually love quality, and you know how to bring them on board without becoming the quality police
• You're patient and tenacious : quality is a long game, and you don't give up when the short-term pressure builds
