Jobtailor is seeking a Certification Manager to lead product certification efforts across Safety, EMC, Radio, and related fields. You will define and monitor the certification roadmap, ensuring compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

You will coordinate with external labs, certification bodies, and internal R&D teams, staying ahead of regulatory changes and mitigating risks. Fluency in French and English is required, with strong project and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Experience in product certification or regulatory compliance.
• Proven experience in project management is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, ideally SAP.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product compliance with hardware regulations, standards, and certification requirements
• Define, manage, and monitor the certification roadmap
• Coordinate certification activities with external laboratories, internal technicians, and R&D teams
• Monitor changes in regulations, standards, and certification requirements
• Collaborate with certification bodies, laboratories, and technical experts
• Assess the impact of regulatory changes
• Ensure product compliance throughout the entire product lifecycle
• Support project teams in integrating certification requirements early in the development phase
• Prepare, coordinate, and obtain required certifications
• Define and maintain the certification roadmap
• Track certification activities and project progress
• Coordinate stakeholders including project teams, laboratories, certification bodies, and technical experts
• Identify and mitigate risks related to certification approvals
• Maintain certification records and documentation within internal databases
• Deliver communication updates and prepare certification reports

Requirements

• Strong project management skills
• Solid understanding of certification processes (Safety, EMC, Radio, Telecom, Accessibility, Cybersecurity, etc.)
• Knowledge of major product certifications such as: CE, FCC, UL, CSA, PTCRB, RED, IC, Accessibility standards, Cybersecurity certifications
• General knowledge of electronics and hardware products
• Understanding of regulatory requirements applicable to electronic and connected devices
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong coordination and organizational skills
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Proactive, autonomous, and results-oriented
• Ability to represent the company with external certification bodies and partners
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field
• Proven experience in product certification, regulatory compliance, or a related area
• Previous project management experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP
• Familiarity with project management and activity tracking tools.
• Fluent in French and English.
