Jobtailor is seeking an experienced Hardware Quality Engineer to own the quality plan and drive robust processes across the development chain. You will define quality targets, coordinate cross-functional activities and ensure rigorous execution.

The role includes running hardware test plans, managing supplier quality (including on-site in China), securing CE certifications, and delivering reliable performance in highly regulated sectors such as medical, defense or aerospace.

Qualifications

• Around 10 years of hardware quality engineering experience in high-stakes industries.
• Experience in highly regulated sectors (medical, defense, aerospace) with strong quality discipline.
• Proficiency with CE standards and managing product certification processes.

Requirements

• Around 10 years of experience in hardware quality engineering in industries where quality is critical
• Experience in highly regulated sectors (medical, defense, aerospace) with demonstrated strong quality discipline
• Proficiency with CE standards and proven ability to manage product certification processes without surprises
• Experience auditing and working with manufacturing suppliers, ideally including China, and comfortable traveling there
• Ability to combine rigor with diplomacy: you can engage hardware teams and get their buy-in without acting as the "quality police"
• Patient and tenacious: you understand that quality is a long-term effort and remain committed under short-term pressure
