NOVACARD is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality of mobile and backend products in a fast-paced fintech environment. You will work across the full product flow from app actions to APIs, queues, and databases, ensuring secure and stable services for customers.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience testing complex systems, investigating risks before release, and collaborating with product, development, analytics, and QA teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience testing complex software systems.
• 2+ years of experience testing external integrations.
• Strong experience in functional testing of mobile applications for Android and iOS.
• Hands-on experience with device logs (Android Logcat, iOS Console).
• Experience intercepting and analyzing mobile traffic across OS versions and resolutions.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Strong testing theory and design techniques.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and test-management tools (X-Ray, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.).
• Proficiency in REST/SOAP API testing (XML/JSON, auth, status codes).
• Proficient SQL skills to validate data across databases (MS SQL Server / PostgreSQL).
• Understanding of asynchronous messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with logging/monitoring tools (Kibana, OpenSearch, Grafana).
• Experience with microservices testing and service boundaries.
• Ability to prepare test data via SQL/scripts and APIs.
• Fluent Russian and English at B1+ for technical docs.

Responsabilités

• Analyze new functionality, design tests, and maintain test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests.
• Test mobile apps on Android and iOS across OS versions and resolutions.
• Validate end-to-end user scenarios across apps, APIs, queues, and DBs.
• Prepare test data across customer lifecycles and product offers.
• Analyze results, identify defects, and report risks.
• Review requirements and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Estimate testing effort and maintain regression suites.
• Investigate logs and correlate requests to diagnose issues.
• Continuously improve QA processes and coverage.
