Netcompany is seeking a Senior Project Leader to guide major IT projects, aligning objectives with strategy and ensuring on-time delivery. You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets and risks, and coordinate with EU programme management teams.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of project/ programme management experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of Agile and project management frameworks. This role is based in Strasbourg with on-site requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• 10+ years of experience as Project or Programme Manager.
• 3+ years of experience with Agile methodology and team collaboration tools.
• Strong experience with consultative project management in IT software development and quality-related areas.
• Knowledge of business process management, enterprise architecture and project management tools and methodologies, esp. Agile/Scrum.
• Ability to work in an international/multicultural environment.
• Excellent leadership and ability to chair meetings and give presentations.
• Experience with PM2, PRINCE2, PMP considered an asset.

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets and resource needs; monitor progress against plans.
• Lead design, development and implementation of software systems and interoperability components.
• Establish and maintain project, quality and security plans; ensure compliance with methodologies and procedures.
• Manage governance, reporting and stakeholder communication; report progress to the Contracting Authority and eu-LISA teams.
• Monitor costs, schedules, resources and risks; address deviations and delivery issues.
• Manage change control and ensure training and knowledge transfer.

Job Description

Are you ready to discover the role of aSenior Project Leaderin Netcompany?

As aSenior Project Leader,you will:

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Contracting Authority, developing realistic project plans aligned with project objectives and the organisation’s overall strategy
• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery and execution of the assigned contract, ensuring compliance with agreed scope, quality, timelines and contractual requirements
• Lead and coordinate project teams, allocating resources, reviewing deliverables, supporting team development and ensuring effective day-to-day project execution
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets and resource requirements, and monitor progress against agreed plans and tolerances
• Lead the design, development and implementation of software systems, including interoperability components, in line with user and business requirements
• Establish and maintain project, quality and security plans, ensuring compliance with applicable methodologies, ITSM processes and Contracting Authority procedures
• Manage project governance, reporting and stakeholder communication, including progress reporting to the Contracting Authority and coordination with eu-LISA programme/project management teams and working groups
• Monitor project costs, schedules, resources and risks, proactively addressing deviations, capacity constraints and delivery issues
• Manage change control and ensure appropriate training, knowledge transfer and continuous adherence to contractual, quality and security requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
• Minimum of 10 years of experience as Project or Programme Manager
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with Agile methodology and teamcollaboration tools
• Strong experience with consultative Project management in the IT software development andquality related areas
• Excellent knowledge of business process management, enterprisearchitecture and project management tools, standards and methodologies, especiallyAgile/Scrum software development methodologies
• Capability of working in an international/multi-cultural environment,understanding the needs, objectives and constraints of those in otherdisciplines and functions
• Excellent leadership qualities and ability to chair meetings and to give presentations
• Experience with other project management methodology (e.g. PM2,PRINCE2, PMP) will be considered as an asset
