Our Client in Paris, a leader in aerospace power systems, seeks an experienced Senior Power Test Engineer to lead the development and testing of power electronics and battery systems for spaceflight, ensuring reliability under simulated mission conditions and guiding design validation from concept to flight readiness.

You will design test benches, automate procedures, run qualification campaigns, and collaborate with suppliers while maintaining high safety and quality standards in a lab

Qualifications

• MSc or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years in test engineering within electronics or power systems.
• Proven experience testing batteries or power electronics.
• Strong Python scripting for test automation and data processing.
• Experience with LabVIEW or TestStand is required.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and configure test benches for batteries and power modules.
• Automate testing procedures and data workflows.
• Execute mission-specific test scenarios including thermal, vacuum, and vibration.
• Lead qualification campaigns and environmental stress testing.
• Manage the in-house cell testing lab and collaborations with suppliers.
• Analyse results to drive hardware improvements and ensure safety compliance.
