iO Associates is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer for our client in Paris to lead the development of satellite power systems from concept to flight hardware. You will own the design of high-power DC/DC converters, work with GaN/SiC devices, and ensure EMI/EMC compliance, thermal management, and robust testing across the development lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have a Master’s degree and 5+ years in converter design in aerospace, with hands-on PCB layout and lab troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years in converter design.
• Experience in high-power satellite power systems and EMI/EMI mitigation.
• Hands-on PCB design and lab testing in aerospace environments.

Responsabilités

• Conceptualise and develop high-power DC/DC converters for satellites.
• Design, simulate, and validate auxiliary power supplies and bias circuits.
• Perform circuit simulations analysing losses, thermal profiles, and control stability.
• Build prototypes, test, and refine designs to meet space standards.
• Collaborate to optimise EMC/EMI and support integration into aerospace frameworks.
