iO Associates is seeking a Senior Battery Electrical Engineer for a NewSpace startup building power systems for commercial LEO satellites. You will own the design from cells to flight-ready hardware, working in a small, highly technical team.

You will design battery pack electronics, develop BMS hardware and functions (SoC/SoH, balancing & protection), and lead testing across lab and flight qualification. MSc in EEE or Electronics and 5+ years in the field are required; space/automotive

Qualifications

• MSc or equivalent in electrical engineering or electronics.
• 5+ years in battery systems or power electronics.
• Strong Li-ion, BMS and high-current electronics experience.
• Low-ego, curious and highly practical mindset.

Responsabilités

• Design battery pack electronics and high-current PCBs.
• Develop BMS hardware and functions: SoC/SoH, balancing & protection.
• Lead cell, battery and BMS testing.
• Select and qualify cells for the LEO environment.
• Work hands-on across design, lab testing and validation.
