PowerToFly is seeking a Power Electronics Engineer to serve as the technical authority for the design, analysis, and optimization of modular Power Conversion Systems. This role demands deep expertise in AC/DC power conversion and advanced semiconductor technologies, contributing significantly to high-performance engineering and innovation in industrial electrification. Candidates should hold a Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, and have 5+ years of relevant experience. The position offers an opportunity to influence technical decisions within a highly technical environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in high-power AC/DC converter design for industrial or grid applications.
• Deep expertise in semiconductor technologies (IGBT, SiC MOSFET, GaN).
• Strong background in grid-connected power electronics.

Responsabilités

• Act as the technical reference for modular power conversion architectures.
• Perform advanced electrical, thermal, and EMC simulations.
• Develop and optimize liquid-cooling solutions for high-density converters.
• Conduct in-depth root-cause analyses and propose corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
