Jobgether seeks a Staff Platform Engineer based in France to own and scale our cloud infrastructure and data layers. You will drive BYOC capabilities, IaC/GitOps, and security practices while partnering with a small autonomous team to deliver reliable platform services.

You will implement scalable reliability, observability, and compliance across PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and ClickHouse, shaping the product with practical infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in platform engineering, infrastructure, DevOps or SRE roles.
• Kubernetes production experience with strong judgment on usage.
• Experience with BYOC, single-tenant, on-prem or air-gapped environments.
• Strong AWS expertise; GCP/Azure familiarity a plus.
• Advanced Terraform with reusable modules and multi-account architectures.
• PostgreSQL focus: performance tuning, migrations, replication.
• Security/compliance programs: SOC 2, ISO audits, penetration testing.
• Security, observability, incident response, deployment automation.
• TypeScript and Node.js familiarity for platform concerns.
• Product mindset with developer empathy and customer focus.
• Excellent communication; autonomous in a startup setting.
• Based in Europe; Netherlands listed specifically for candidates.

Responsabilités

• Own and scale the cloud infrastructure supporting the platform, including compute, networking, and data-layer services.
• Lead BYOC capabilities: provisioning, upgrades, observability, and scalable customer-cloud deployments.
• Operationalize Infrastructure as Code and GitOps to enable fast, reliable shipping.
• Define meaningful SLOs and build incident management processes.
• Own data infrastructure such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, ClickHouse.
• Drive security and compliance initiatives (SOC 2, ISO audits, penetration testing).
• Make architectural decisions balancing scalability, security, performance and velocity.
• Partner with engineering and customer teams to translate needs into platform improvements.
• Contribute to roadmap and broader company strategy with strong ownership.
• Support incidents and promote pragmatic operational practices.
