Jobgether is partnering with a client in France to hire a Platform Engineer (P4) for remote work across Europe. The role emphasizes designing scalable cloud environments, automating CI/CD, and guiding cloud architecture for data science workflows.

You will work with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Ansible, providing ownership from design through delivery in a consulting context while collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional cloud/platform engineering experience.
• Led at least one major infrastructure project from design to delivery.
• Strong AWS expertise; Kubernetes and Linux proficiency.
• IaC with Terraform/Ansible; scripting in Python/Bash.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of cloud-native architecture, scalability, reliability.
• Experience with data science / ML workloads is highly relevant.
• Strong consulting skills and client-facing capability.
• Fluent English (C1) written and spoken; remote work aptitude.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud environments across AWS and Azure, focusing on AWS.
• Develop platform infrastructure for data science and ML workflows.
• Automate development and deployment with modern CI/CD tooling.
• Define and manage IaC using Terraform and Ansible for consistency.
• Operate Kubernetes-based environments and Linux systems.
• Create automation tools using Python, Bash, and related scripting.
• Lead or contribute to technical solutions from architecture to delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into platform solutions.
• Advise clients on cloud architecture, DevOps, security, and scalability.
• Contribute to documentation and internal engineering initiatives.
