Job Description

The role

Global Talent Acquisition forms part of the Talent & Development Centre of Excellence within the Firm’s Global HR operating model, supporting the Firm in identifying, attracting and recruiting the talent needed to meet current and future business needs.

As a Talent Acquisition Manager, you will lead legal Talent Acquisition activities for the Paris office, one of the Firm’s largest markets globally, partnering closely with business leaders, hiring managers and HR colleagues to deliver the Firm’s hiring priorities and strengthen our position in an increasingly competitive talent market.

You will have operational accountability for the Paris office for legal experienced hire and Early Talent recruitment, leveraging the Firm’s employer brand and sourcing capabilities to support attraction and hiring, alongside strong stakeholder partnership and talent market insight.

While your primary accountability will be Paris, you will operate within a highly collaborative international Talent Acquisition function, working closely with colleagues across locations to support greater global alignment, consistency and sharing of best practice. You will contribute expertise, market insight and support across the wider Firm, with the scope of the role developing over time to reflect changing business priorities and opportunities for broader contribution.

Talent Acquisition Business Partnering

  • Lead the delivery of a high-quality, commercially focused Talent Acquisition service for the Paris office.
  • Build strong relationships with partners, business leaders, hiring managers and HR colleagues, acting as a trusted Talent Acquisition adviser.
  • Advise stakeholders on hiring strategies, talent availability, market trends and recruitment risks.
  • Use recruitment data and market intelligence to support informed hiring and workforce planning decisions.

Experienced Hire Recruitment

  • Lead end-to-end experienced hire legal recruitment across Paris, aligned with business and Global Product Group priorities.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define requirements and develop effective recruitment and assessment strategies.
  • Maintain oversight of hiring activity, priorities and risks, ensuring high-quality and timely recruitment outcomes.
  • Ensure adoption of consistent assessment standards and recruitment practices.
  • Ensure an inclusive, engaging and high-quality candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Early Talent Acquisition

  • Oversee Early Talent recruitment for Paris, including attraction, selection and recruitment of intern and graduate populations.
  • Work closely with a Talent Acquisition Specialist, providing direction and oversight of Early Talent recruitment activity and delivery.
  • Partner with the business to ensure Early Talent activity supports current requirements and future talent needs.
  • Oversee relationships with universities, student organisations and other relevant external partners, alongside careers fairs, events and attraction activity.
  • Ensure consistent assessment standards and a high-quality candidate experience across Early Talent recruitment.
  • Use recruitment and market insights to identify trends, risks and opportunities across future talent pipelines.

Employer Branding & Sourcing

  • Partner with Employer Brand colleagues to leverage global campaigns and recruitment marketing effectively within the Paris market.
  • Develop attraction and sourcing approaches appropriate to local talent audiences, hiring priorities and market conditions.
  • Drive effective use of direct sourcing, market mapping and talent pipelines to support current and future hiring requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective candidates and relevant talent communities.
  • Manage the effective and commercially appropriate use of recruitment agencies and search partners.
  • Use candidate and market insight to continuously strengthen attraction and sourcing activity.

Operational Excellence & Collaboration

  • Ensure recruitment activity aligns with the Firm’s Talent Acquisition processes, governance, assessment standards and inclusive hiring principles.
  • Leverage recruitment technology, data and AI-enabled tools to support efficient, high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Support the adoption of global Talent Acquisition initiatives and ways of working within Paris.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition colleagues internationally, sharing expertise and best practice to promote greater alignment and consistency across locations.
Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Significant Talent Acquisition experience, ideally within a law firm, professional services, financial services or another fast-paced, international, client-focused environment.
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end recruitment and delivering high-quality recruitment outcomes.
  • Strong experience partnering with senior stakeholders and providing credible recruitment advice.
  • Robust knowledge of experienced hire recruitment, sourcing and candidate engagement.
  • Experience of Early Talent, campus recruitment or employer branding would be advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and communication skills.
  • Commercial judgement and the ability to use market insight and recruitment data to make practical recommendations.
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and project management capability.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to operate autonomously and take ownership.
  • Collaborative and internationally minded, with the adaptability to take on broader responsibilities as business needs evolve.
  • Interest in recruitment technology, innovation and AI-enabled tools.
  • Fluency in French and English is required; additional languages would be advantageous.
