Business At Work seeks a Control and Automation Engineer for PAT Systems in Paris. You will own control-law design, precision servo control and real-time embedded implementation for pointing, acquisition and tracking in advanced optical systems.

The role combines theory with hardware validation, model-based simulation, and close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams. English required, French work environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience designing and validating closed-loop control on real hardware.
• Strong MATLAB/Simulink background and control-law implementation skills.
• Familiarity with real-time embedded C and RTOS environments.

Responsabilités

• Design, tune and validate control laws for PAT pointing loops.
• Develop velocity and position-control for precision pointing mechanisms.
• Model actuators, structures, sensors and run end-to-end simulations.
• Implement control algorithms on target hardware with deterministic timing.
• Coordinate with optical, mechanical and embedded software teams.
