Job summary

Bedrock Streaming is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to build and run the VRO operating backbone, making information reliable and timely for decisions.

You will structure workflows, data and dashboards, drive automation (including AI agents), and evolve the tooling ecosystem (Jira, Confluence, EazyBI). You’ll collaborate across Product, Delivery, Finance and IT to deliver durable, scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Built or reshaped a complex system supporting organizational steering and decision-making.
• Six+ years of experience in Operations, Portfolio Operations, Transformation Operations or tooling-intensive PMO at scale.

Senior Operations Manager – Value Realization Office (VRO)

THE MISSION

Build, run and industrialize the VRO’s operating backbone so that the right information is available, reliable and usable at the right moment.

THE ROLE

Bedrock’s Value Realization Office helps the organization steer its portfolio, measure the value it creates and maintain information reliable enough to support decisions. It covers Portfolio Management, Product Operations - Excellence, and Product Operations - Insights.

We are looking for a senior Operations professional to build and run the system that connects processes, data, tools, reporting and automation, and continuously improve it at scale.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Keep the VRO’s operating system running

• Structure and maintain the workflows, data, tools and processes the VRO needs to function. Ensure initiatives, decisions, dependencies, owners, deadlines and steering information are structured, accessible and usable.

Structure data and make it trustworthy

• Define the information needed for steering. Put completeness, consistency and freshness checks in place, and progressively eliminate manual consolidation and competing sources of truth.
• Build and maintain dashboards used by the VRO and governance forums. Connect reporting to source data and enable teams and domains to manage their standard reporting views independently.

Automate operations, including with AI agents

• Identify repetitive work such as information collection, checks, reminders, report preparation and decision follow-up.
• Choose the appropriate mechanism: a business rule, deterministic automation or an AI agent. Deploy agentic automation where context, risk and data quality allow, with human oversight and exception handling.

Evolve the tooling ecosystem

• Improve Jira Software, Jira Product Discovery, EazyBI and Confluence, and how they interact with other sources.
• Translate VRO needs into functional requirements covering data models, fields, workflows, rules, dashboards, automations and integrations.

Make the system usable and durable

• Document processes, conventions and decisions. Create reusable standards, support adoption and measure the effort required from users. Simplify the system when it becomes too complex.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

You have already built or reshaped a complex system supporting organizational steering and decision-making.

Ideally, you bring six or more years of experience in Operations, Business Operations, Portfolio Operations, Transformation Operations, a tooling-intensive PMO, Tooling & Systems, or functional Atlassian administration at scale.

KEY SKILLS

• Operations and processes: understand cross-functional processes, identify friction, simplify workflows and make work repeatable, documented and measurable.
• Data and reporting: work with data models, KPIs, dashboards and quality controls, with the judgement to distinguish available data from data reliable enough to support decisions.
• Atlassian: strong command of Jira Software, including objects, fields, workflows, screens, conditions, validators, JQL and automation. Experience with Jira Product Discovery, EazyBI or an equivalent reporting tool, and solid Confluence skills.
• Automation, AI and agents: a working understanding of generative AI, AI agents and workflow orchestration. Ability to identify suitable agentic use cases and design interactions with tools, APIs and data sources, with guardrails, human oversight and exception handling.
• Additional technical skills: Atlassian Analytics and Data Lake, Jira Service Management, SQL, Jira APIs, scripting or agent-orchestration platforms are a plus.

HOW YOU WORK

• You are service-minded and comfortable working across Product, Delivery, Finance, Data, Engineering and IT.
• You can challenge configuration requests, explain when they undermine collective effectiveness and propose simpler alternatives.
• You prefer removing an unnecessary field to adding three new ones.
• You are rigorous about documentation and traceability.
• You are comfortable with ambiguity and building systems that are not yet fully defined.
• You work in professional English. French is a plus, not a requirement.

• Reduced manual consolidation, duplicate data entry and handling.
• Better data quality and a greater share of automatically generated reporting.

YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS

First 30 days - Understand and measure

Map the VRO’s processes, tools, data sources and main manual operations. Establish baselines.

By day 60 - Simplify and structure

Propose the target operating and data model, clarify responsibilities and prioritize improvements, automations and agentic use cases.

By day 90 - Demonstrate

Deliver a first report connected to real data and eliminate at least one recurring manual consolidation.

ROLE SCOPE

This role builds and runs the VRO’s operational backbone.

Existing Product Operations responsibilities remain with their current owners. Platform administration remains with the team responsible for it, and portfolio prioritization remains with Portfolio Management.

The objective is to build a durable system that reduces the need to recreate reports, presentations and consolidations manually.
