Jobtailor in France is seeking an experienced Network Architect to drive the evolution of a multi-site LAN/WAN ecosystem connecting two data centers and 200+ sites worldwide. You will own complex routing, security, and SDN integration, collaborating with Systems and Security teams.

The role requires a Master’s in Networks and Telecommunications, 5+ years in distributed infrastructures, and strong skills in VMware NSX, Fortinet, Cisco, and AWS networking.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Networks & Telecommunications or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with complex distributed LAN/WAN infrastructures.
• Expert in dynamic routing and perimeter security.
• Strong command of VMware NSX and AWS networking ecosystem.
• Certifications desirable: Fortinet NSE 4/7, Cisco CCNP, or VMware VCP-NV.
• Fluent English required in a global multi-site context.

Responsabilités

Responsibilities

• Take operational responsibility for and drive the evolution of an ecosystem connecting two datacenters and more than 200 international sites.
• Address complex issues related to availability, traffic security, and network convergence.
• Play an active role in engineering projects related to the group's acquisitions.
• Define target architectures and draft Technical Architecture Documents (Dossiers d’Architecture Technique - DAT).
• Design routing topologies for site openings and mergers.
• Lead advanced operations for the Fortinet / Cisco Meraki / Dell technology stack.
• Manage the SDN layer using VMware NSX.
• Provide L2/L3 support in accordance with SLAs.
• Oversee infrastructure and coordinate with telecom operators.
• Work closely with Systems and Security teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree (MSc / engineering school) specialized in Networks & Telecommunications
• Minimum 5 years’ experience with complex, distributed LAN/WAN infrastructures
• Expert in dynamic routing and perimeter security
• Strong command of VMware NSX and the AWS networking ecosystem is a major advantage
• Certifications highly desirable: Fortinet (NSE 4/7), Cisco (CCNP), or VMware (VCP-NV)
• Fluent English required (global multi-site context)
