Job summary

Yubo, the social discovery app, is seeking a Senior Product Designer in Paris to partner with a Product Manager close to end-to-end experiences. You will influence strategy, run design experiments, and ship initiatives aimed at growing retention and monetization across a product used by millions.

You will balance product thinking with craft, lead design from discovery to delivery, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data, Brand, and Trust & Safety teams in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• 3-4+ years of experience designing digital products, ideally within consumer mobile applications.
• Able to own projects from problem definition through launch.
• Strong visual design skills with solid product thinking.
• Use data, research, and user feedback to guide decisions.
• Communicate design rationale clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enjoy collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams.
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where priorities evolve.
• Conviction to make bold design calls and defend them.
• Design with the user at the center.
• Experience with social, community, social discovery, gaming, or consumer subscription products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead product design projects from discovery through delivery and post-launch iteration.
• Partner closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Brand Marketing, Data Analysts, Legal and Trust & Safety to solve meaningful user problems.
• Contribute to product strategy, experimentation, and roadmap discussions.
• Design mobile-first experiences across iOS and Android with usability and accessibility focus.
• Translate user needs, business goals, and technical constraints into thoughtful product experiences.
• Use analytics, feedback and competitive insights to guide design decisions.
• Create prototypes and test concepts to validate ideas quickly.
• Help evolve and maintain Yubo's design system and ensure design consistency across the product.
• Advocate for high-quality user experiences while remaining pragmatic about delivery and iteration.
