Medpace Imaging Core Laboratory seeks a full-time, office-based Medical Physicist to lead quantitative image reconstruction and dosimetry for clinical trials involving radio-theranostic agents. You will advise on protocols, design imaging measures, and perform QA across PET/CT, SPECT/CT, and planar imaging, ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires a PhD or MSc in physics with strong dosimetry experience, proficiency in MIRD S-values and OLINDA/EXM, and prior exposure to clinical trials

Qualifications

• PhD in physics or related field with at least 2 years' dosimetry experience.
• Or MSc in physics with at least 5 years' dosimetry experience.
• Expertise in quantitative image reconstruction for nuclear medicine.
• Experience with MIRD S-values, 3D-RD and/or OLINDA/EXM 1.0 software.
• Experience with gamma, PET/CT, SPECT/CT dosimetry is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Advise on radiation dosimetry and nuclear imaging for clinical trial protocols.
• Design imaging and dosimetry measures for diagnostic or therapeutic radionuclides.
• Perform QA checks on nuclear imaging and dosimetry data per protocol requirements.
• Calibrate scanners using phantom scans and dosimetry conversion factors.
• Conduct image reconstruction and analysis (PET/CT, SPECT/CT, planar imaging).
• Compute dosimetry (%ID/g, biological half-life, TIAC, dose) in tissues using software.
• Ensure compliance with MIRC and ICRP radiation safety guidelines.
• Prepare project status reports and timelines for imaging components.
• Work in compliance with GCP, 21 CFR Part 11, SOPs, and trial protocols.
