Körber is seeking a System Architect to provide technical leadership in sales concept development and project design for freight, parcel, and material handling industries. You will work with the Sales organization to translate customer operations and challenges into industry-leading system solutions, aligning with detailed design in execution teams.

You will guide project concepts from initial concept through validation, including data analysis, system performance modeling, and documentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of successful experience in related field.

Responsabilités

• Lead the design and development of material handling system solutions leveraging expertise in equipment technology and operations.
• Partner with clients to define system requirements, analyze data, and deliver efficient solutions.
• Provide technical leadership during the sales phase and build client confidence in Körber’s capabilities.
• Support multiple concurrent projects ranging from $1M to $250M in value.
• Facilitate meetings to align system concepts, requirements, and progress.
• Develop material flow calculations and Basis of Design to define performance and throughput.
• Serve as subject matter expert on material handling equipment for optimal tech selection and integration.
• Create system concepts, process flows, and material flow diagrams for solution development.
• Collaborate across engineering, design, bid, and operations to develop specs, pricing, and handoff docs.
• Support system validation through simulation, emulation, and commissioning.
