Job summary

Körber Pharma Packaging AG is recruiting a Support Analyst to identify, prioritize, and resolve technical issues for customer systems, including WMS and related components. The role may involve 24/7 on-call rotations and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and data privacy practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot business systems, software, and processes to identify root causes of issues.
• Collaborate with developers, engineers, and cross-functional teams to diagnose problems and implement solutions.
• Define and support issue resolution, including scoping, estimating, scheduling, and implementation.
• Gather and fulfill requirements from internal teams and external customers.
• Serve as liaison between customers and technical teams for issue investigation and resolution.
• Perform system maintenance, upgrades, installations, configurations, and fixes.
• Test and validate software performance and fixes to ensure full resolution and improvement opportunities.
• Track support trends, maintain documentation, and provide on-call/off-hours support as needed.

The support analyst’s role is to identify, prioritize, and resolve technical issues related to customer system issues pertaining to systems including WMS, and other components supported by Körber. This includes the responsibility of managing customer expectations and understanding both the operational and technical (database, code, interface, etc.) components of the issue so that appropriate service levels can be maintained and resolution can be achieved. This position may require rotational on-call support and backup assistance for 24/7 coverage.

Your role in our team

• You will analyze and troubleshoot business systems, software, and processes to identify root causes of issues

• Define and support issue resolution efforts, including scoping, estimating, scheduling, and implementation
• Gather, analyze, and fulfill requirements from internal teams and external customers
• Serve as a liaison between customers and technical teams to investigate and resolve system issues
• Perform system maintenance and improvements, including upgrades, installations, configurations, and desktop-level fixes
• Test, monitor, and validate software performance and fixes to ensure issues are fully resolved and opportunities for improvement are identified
• Track support trends, maintain documentation, follow escalation procedures, and provide on-call/off-hours support as needed

Your profile

• You have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent degree
• Proficiency in PL/SQL and Java, with intermediate to advanced experience in Oracle and SQL Server databases, SQL queries, and stored procedures
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows Server platforms, server hardware, RF equipment, and printers
• Experience resolving business-critical customer issues, researching software-related problems, and developing effective solutions
• Hands-on experience recommending and implementing technical solutions, including appropriate testing and deployment practices
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), operational best practices, and applicable data privacy laws and practices
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environments, work independently and collaboratively, and adapt to new technologies
