Job summary

Blue United Sourcing seeks a Senior Manager of Major Projects for a leading nuclear power company. This role directs the execution of a large-scale capital upgrade program at an operating facility, coordinating engineering, operations, and contractor partners to deliver hundreds of plant modifications safely, on schedule, and on budget.

You will lead a team of project managers and controls staff, define scope with site engineering, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while driving

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or higher.
• PMP certification is required.
• PE license is preferred and valued.

Responsibilities

• Direct execution of major capital upgrade projects from design through implementation.
• Lead 10–15 direct reports including project managers and controls staff.
• Define scope, deliverables and success criteria with site engineering team.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver system upgrades on time.
• Oversee budgets and resource plans with strict cost control.
• Manage large contractor workforce during peak execution windows.
• Identify and manage regulatory and execution risks for timely approvals.
