Eutelsat Communications SA is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to drive the Iris2 project’s legal strategy in Paris or Turin. You will act as a trusted adviser to the Iris2 team, negotiating complex contracts and ensuring alignment with business goals across procurement and engineering activities.

The role requires a seasoned lawyer with experience in high-stakes negotiations, drafting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Competenze

• Qualified lawyer with 6–8+ PQE in relevant jurisdiction.
• Proven track record leading complex commercial contracts as lead lawyer.
• Experience in space/aerospace, defence, or regulated sectors preferred.
• Ability to mentor junior lawyers and manage multiple negotiations.

Mansioni

• Act as legal lead and trusted adviser to the Iris2 project team.
• Lead drafting, review and negotiation of high-value contracts (launch services, satellite manufacturing, technology licensing, infrastructure agreements).
• Provide commercially focused legal advice balancing risk and business objectives.
• Collaborate with wider Eutelsat Legal team on Iris2 matters and related projects.
• Support Legal Director - Projects and Legal Director - Procurement and Engineering on Iris2.
