Job summary

Eutelsat is hiring a Junior Legal Counsel to support the Iris2 project within its legal team. You will assist with drafting, reviewing, and monitoring a range of procurement and engineering agreements under the guidance of senior lawyers.

Based in Paris or Turin, this role offers exposure to space industry contracting, with a clear path to grow into more autonomous responsibilities through hands-on practice and cross‑functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 1–4 years PQE in France or Italy.
• Exposure to commercial contracts; in-house, aerospace/defence, or major infrastructure background is a plus.
• Genuine interest in the space/satellite sector matters more than existing exposure.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advisory and business partnering for Iris2 project teams.
• Draft, review, and monitor procurement and engineering contracts.
• Prepare first drafts, redlines, and summaries; track issues to resolution.
• Collaborate with the wider Legal team and project stakeholders.
• Support legal administration: filing, matter tracking, and precedent maintenance.
