Job summary

Eutelsat is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join its Iris2 project team. You will lead complex commercial negotiations, draft high‑value contracts, and provide business‑focused legal advice across procurement and engineering matters.

The role requires autonomous work, strong drafting skills, and the ability to collaborate with multi‑jurisdictional stakeholders in a regulated space sector. Paris or Turin offices.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 6–8+ PQE in a comparable regulatory and technical sector.
• Experience leading, drafting, and negotiating complex, high-value contracts.
• Track record advising at pace on live multi-stakeholder programmes.

Responsibilities

• Act as legal lead and trusted adviser to Iris2 project team.
• Lead drafting, review, and negotiation of complex contracts in procurement and engineering spaces.
• Provide proactive, commercially-focused legal advice enabling strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with wider Legal team on Iris2 matters.
• Support Legal Directors on all Iris2 aspects.
• Oversee junior lawyers on Iris2 matters and allocate work.
