Job summary

L‑Acoustics seeks a Senior Legal Counsel to provide strategic legal support across commercial, IP, technology and contractual matters in an international environment. You will partner with business teams to identify legal risks and develop pragmatic solutions.

You will draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements, manage the IP portfolio, advise on privacy and data governance, and contribute to governance and risk management initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in law with a specialization in Intellectual Property, IT, Technology, or Business Law.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in both law firm and in-house settings.
• Strong expertise in IP, IT, technology transactions, and commercial law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating international agreements.
• Knowledge of data protection and digital regulatory frameworks.
• Business-oriented mindset with strong communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day legal advice to business stakeholders on operational and strategic matters.
• Partner with business teams to identify legal risks, assess opportunities and develop pragmatic, business‑focused solutions.
• Draft, review, negotiate and manage a broad range of commercial agreements, including software, SaaS, licensing, cloud services, technology development, R&D, partnership and other strategic contracts.
• Lead and support the protection, management and enforcement of the company's IP portfolio, including trademarks, patents, copyrights, know‑how, and trade secrets.
• Advise on IP matters related to products, innovation, research and development, and commercial activities.
• Provide legal guidance on IT, digital transformation, cybersecurity, AI, software development.
• Support privacy, data protection and data governance programs, including GDPR compliance.
• Monitor regulatory developments and translate them into actionable guidance.
• Deliver training on legal risk awareness and IP protection.
• Manage disputes with external counsel as needed.
• Assist with dispute prevention and coordination with external counsel.
• Support cross‑functional projects and corporate governance initiatives.
