HCLTech in France seeks a Senior IT Engineer to provide onsite support for local IT services, manage incidents and requests, and work with service owners to maintain SLAs and security controls.

The role requires 6+ years in IT, deep knowledge of servers, storage, OS, SAP, and databases or middleware, with strong communication skills in English and local language. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification: B.Eng. in information technology or master degree.
• 6+ years’ IT experience with hands-on Data Centre exposure.
• Solid understanding of servers, storage, OS, clustering, SAP, databases or middleware.
• IT service delivery with ITIL knowledge and strong communication skills.
• Self-starter who can work independently with limited day-to-day support.

Responsabilités

• Conduct support operations on day-to-day basis.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure operations and engineering to meet SLAs and security/compliance tasks.
• Manage service operations for local and legacy services with service owners.
• Drive continuous improvement of service and support processes.
• Participate in IT Compliance and Infra development where agreed.
• Coordinate local users and handle escalations within own area.
• Participate in Duty Ring at sites within two hours from home base.
