Airbus SAS in Blagnac, France, is seeking a Senior Internal Strategy Consultant to join the Corporate Strategy team. You will bridge corporate vision with divisional execution, driving long-term value creation and transforming high-impact projects with leadership across the group.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in top-tier strategy or industrial consulting, deep aerospace/defense knowledge, and a proven track record in M&A analysis and cross-functional alignment. English fluency is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in top-tier strategy or industrial consulting.
• Deep understanding of Aerospace & Defense ecosystems; Services, Cyber/Digital, or Unmanned Systems a plus.
• Ability to quickly qualify targets and articulate the strategic rationale for M&A deals.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Lead internal strategic missions and drive high-impact transformation with divisional leadership.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and break down silos between Corporate and Divisions to drive alignment on strategic implementation.
• Manage interface with top-tier external strategy consulting firms and integrate their output into the internal strategic roadmap.
• Develop and maintain dynamic capital allocation frameworks aligned with strategic priorities and value creation.
• Perform yearly peer benchmarking focusing on economic profit and analyze competitive dynamics.

Airbus Commercial is looking for a Senior Internal Strategy Consultant (f/m) to join our Corporate Strategy department based in Blagnac, France.

Your challenges:

• 1. Internal Strategic Missions: Driving High-Impact Business Transformation: Spearhead critical internal strategy projects, partnering directly with Divisional leadership to tackle complex business development, industrial strategy questions and M&A opportunities.


• Act as an internal \"center of excellence\" for strategy, providing rapid analysis and actionable recommendations to executive leadership on high-stakes business questions.


• Orchestrate cross-functional teams, breaking down silos between Corporate and Divisions to drive alignment on strategic implementation.


• Manage the interface with top-tier external strategy consulting firms, ensuring seamless integration of their output into the Group internal strategic roadmap.

Capital Allocation & Financial Strategy

• Develop and maintain dynamic capital allocation frameworks that categorize investments into tactical and strategic:


• Ensure group’s capital allocation is in line with our strategic priorities and value creation ambition

Portfolio Performance & Peer Benchmarking

• Perform yearly deep-dive peer benchmarking focusing on Economic Profit of Airbus vs its peers in the three areas we operate (Commercial Aircraft, Helicopters, Defence & Space),


• Analyze competitive dynamics (e.g., Airbus vs. Peers) to identify areas of underperformance or untapped potential.

Your boarding pass:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in top-tier strategy consulting or/and industrial consulting role


• Deep understanding of the Aerospace & Defense ecosystem. Familiarity with business models in Services, Cyber/Digital, or Unmanned Systems is a strong plus.


• Ability to quickly qualify targets and articulate the strategic rationale for M&A deals.


• Proven ability to navigate complex matrix organizations and drive consensus across diverse divisional stakeholders.


• Ability to synthesize market trends, competitive dynamics, and deal data into actionable board-ready recommendations.


• Fluency in English is mandatory
