Job summary

Veepee is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Foundation - Infrastructure Development team. You will contribute across Gaio, VeepeeCloud, and other internal services, working in Rust, Go and Scala.

You will operate in production environments and leverage AI coding tools daily. You will collaborate with SREs and DevOps engineers, participate in incident response, and contribute to architecture discussions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience on large-scale systems.
• Proficiency in Go, Rust, or Scala with willingness to work across all three.
• Experience with databases, schema design, and scale.
• Production incident management experience including on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain production services across multiple infrastructure projects.
• Participate in architectural discussions and evaluate trade-offs.
• Collaborate with SREs on reliability and operational decisions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, well-tested code.
• Respond to production incidents and contribute to resolutions.
• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality.
