Job summary

Veepee is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Foundation - Infrastructure Development team. You will work across Gaio GenAI Orchestrator, VeepeeCloud, and other internal services, collaborating with SREs, DevOps, and Product Owners to deliver robust infra.

You'll code in Rust, Go, or Scala, handle production incidents, participate in reviews, and leverage AI coding agents to boost productivity. This role blends design, implementation and operations in a fast-paced, international

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience on large-scale systems.
• Strong proficiency in Go, Rust or Scala and ability to work across all three.
• Experience with large databases (schema design, query optimization, scale considerations).
• Direct experience in production incident management and on-call rotations.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps/SRE tooling: Kubernetes, Terraform, Docker, CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of fault-tolerance, observability, scalability, and reliability in distributed systems.
• Comfortable using AI coding agents and integrating them into daily workflows.
• Good written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain production services across multiple infrastructure projects.
• Participate in architectural discussions and trade-off analyses.
• Collaborate with SREs on infrastructure and operational decisions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Respond to production incidents and contribute to resolutions.
